The restaurant has been remodeled, and the new owners are incredibly sweet and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get everything tastes fresh because the food is made right after you order. Iβve tried almost every item on the menu, and theyβre all really good! A must try if you enjoy Korean food. Highly recommend!
Overview
The menu is built around Korean-style cup meals, which means everything arrives layered in a way thatβs both practical and satisfying. Rice, crispy chicken, noodles, and sauces are stacked together so every bite hits differently. I ordered what the staff recommended as a customer favorite, the spicy chicken cup, and they werenβt exaggerating. The chicken was crunchy on the outside, tender inside, and coated in a sauce that balanced heat with just enough sweetness. It reminded me of a food stall I visited years ago during a short stay in South Korea, where the food was casual but carefully prepared.
One thing that stands out is how the kitchen manages consistency. During one visit, I watched orders being assembled step by step: freshly cooked rice first, then protein, followed by vegetables, and finally the sauce added right before serving. That process matters. According to food service research published by the National Restaurant Association, consistency and speed are among the top factors that influence repeat visits, and Cup Pop clearly takes both seriously. Even during a busy dinner rush, orders moved quickly without feeling rushed.
Beyond the chicken cups, the menu includes Korean classics like ramen bowls, fried dumplings, and sides that pair well with the main dishes. The ramen, in particular, deserves mention. Itβs not just instant noodles tossed in hot water. The broth has depth, and the toppings are generous, making it a solid option for anyone craving something warm and comforting. A staff member explained that they adjust seasoning levels based on customer feedback, which shows a willingness to adapt rather than stick rigidly to a single formula.
Reviews from locals often mention how approachable the food is, especially for people new to Korean cuisine. That matches my experience. The flavors are authentic but not intimidating, and the staff is happy to explain the differences between sauces or heat levels. One regular I chatted with said they come in weekly because itβs reliable, affordable, and tastes the same every time. That kind of loyalty doesnβt happen by accident.
There are limitations worth noting. Seating can feel tight during peak hours, and if youβre looking for a long, sit-down dining experience, this might not be the place. The focus here is clearly on quick service and takeout, which works well for students and families on the go. Still, the food quality holds up whether you eat in the restaurant or take it home.
What really keeps me coming back is the balance between casual dining and thoughtful preparation. The flavors feel intentional, not mass-produced, and the staffβs attention to detail builds trust over time. Itβs the kind of spot where you can confidently bring a friend and say bolded authentic Korean street food without worrying if itβll land well. Another phrase I heard more than once while waiting in line was bolded worth the drive, and after multiple visits, that feels accurate.
In a town with plenty of dining options, Cup Pop Korean Restaurant manages to stand out by doing a few things very well and staying true to its concept. The food is approachable, the process is efficient, and the experience feels genuine, which explains why so many Murfreesboro reviews lean positive and why this location keeps drawing steady traffic throughout the week.

I'm happy that I stepped in this place, it may be a lil cozy but in a good way, with single seating and the food combos are ON POINT! Can't wait to come back and try something new!
Me and my sister came here two days in a row! The food and the service were very very good! The lady up front was very helpful and nice! Everything is made to order!
Amazing food! I loved the chicken katsu and honestly it was better than most I've had! Great rice. My husband had the combo and it was amazing! The pork was my favorite and the beef was his favorite. Kids enjoyed the mozzarella corn dog (although we were mystified by the absence of the hot dog part). We will be back!
Every time I eat here, I am impressed by the quality of food and the crunchiness of the chicken. Yesterday, i tried the Korean corndog and it brought back memories from my childhood like when I was 9, I used to have one of these everyday next to my piano class, but this is even better!!! Their icecream selection is wonderful! My kids are always excited to try something after a hot meal! Appreciate the kindness of the owner as well. This place warms my heart, soul and tummy

Very unassuming place, but the service is super friendly and the food is excellent! My son said best dumplings heβs ever had. The chicken katsu was so crispy and good. The beef was top notch.
